York City, "The Big Apple" is located on the Atlantic coast
between Boston and
Philadelphia It is one

the most populous
metropolitan areas in the world. New York City has a significant

traces its roots to the 1624 it's founding as New Amsterdam by
Dutch colonists. The city and its surrounds came under English
control in 1664 and was renamed New York. New York
